The Wide Flange tapered cap & plug design gives this part added protection on bearing surfaces and keeps the plug from being accidently pushed down through the hole. The tapered design allows the part to plug multiple ID's or cap multiple OD's. Provides protection from damage, dirt, moisture and corrosion during storage and transportation.
