Tapered Caps and Plugs made from Red and Blue Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE). A versatile assembly that can be used as both a tapered cap or a tapered plug.

The tapered design allows the part to plug multiple inner diameters or cap multiple outside diameters. The Tapered Cap Plug protects the assembly against damage, dirt, moisture and corrosion during storage and shipping. The series has parts with a heavy duty design, which includes a rugged wall and seal rings for maximum protection.

To assure a proper fit;

• The tapered plugs outer diameter should be approximately 1% larger than the inner diameter of the part (minimum of 0.020 inch).
• The tapered caps inner diameter should be approximately 1% smaller than the outside diameter of the part (minimum of 0.020 inch).

Lift Off Hinges, also known as Door Removal Hinges, make the removal of covers, doors and panels simple. When the panel to which the hinge is attached is opened, the top part of the hinge lifts off from the bottom part. We have several Lift-Off Hinges to choose from...

Flush Mount Hinges designed for plain/flush mounted doors, and Surface Mount Hinges that are ideal for electric panels and machinery covers. Both options are made from Zinc Alloy and have a Stainless Steel AISI 304 pin. The lift-off hinge feature makes for easy door and panel removal, while the concealed mounting screws prevent external access to the hinge. They have a maximum hinge rotation of 180 degrees. Both available with Chrome Plated and Black Powder Coated finishes.

Our Surface Mount offer includes Zinc Plated Steel and Stainless Steel Lift off Hinge options designed for plain, flush-mounted doors. The hinge rotation is 270 degrees.

Also available are Nylon Lift-Off Latch/Locks made from 30% Glass Filled Polyamide 6 (PA6) that are suitable for an M8 thread. The fastening bolts are not included. Plastic over plugs are provided with your purchase. These plastic hinges feature a universal lock and hinge design. The hinge rotation is 180 degrees, and the door can be completely removed by unlocking the hinge. Hex head driver insert is used to secure hinges (4mm hex head).

Lift and Turn Cam Latches (Locks) that have a simple lift and turn operation and compression action. They are easily assembled using a bracket or snap-in fixing.

These latches benefit from a low profile handle that stows away when not in use. It also features straight-forward grip adjustment for added convenience. The range is available in several style options that have a host of unique properties. Lift and Turn Cam Latches can be used in a host of indoor and outdoor applications that include, but are not limited to; electrical panels, machine covers, railway and construction equipment.

The styles featured in the range include, Compression Locks with 5mm present compression, Swinghandles in a range of sizes that have a spring-loaded, slam action design, with options that can be operating using a push-button, as well as all-metal options. Also included are Swell Latches that optimise performance under vibration conditions, and Three-point Rod Latches with an integrated gear-box for multiple point latched.
