A bordázott csővégdugók a csövek és csővégek biztonságos lezárására szolgálnak. A dugó külső átmérőjének egyenes fala szilárd súrlódási illeszkedést biztosít a csatlakozó cső belső átmérőjéhez, jó védelmet nyújtva a csőbe kerülő szennyeződések ellen.

Kétféle kivitelben kaphatók, amelyek mindegyike különböző méretű rugalmas bordákkal rendelkezik, hogy megfeleljen a különféle NPT és fúrócsövek ütemezésének. Könnyen fel- és levehető szoros illeszkedésüknek köszönhetően.
