Captive Screws - Cap Head

This range of Captive Screws feature a cap head with a hexagonal drive. Hexagonal drives are ideal for precision assembly and are ideally used where less surface area is available.

They are an ideal fitting solution for panels with non-threaded holes. They are used to comply with the Machinery Detective 2006/42/EC - generally to ISO 4762. Captive Screws are commonly used with Threaded Captive Washers (sold separately).

These screws are made from Stainless Steel that provides good resistance to corrosion and machinability.You can find a group of screws with a blackened finish and others without. The material is a popular choice for construction and automotive applications.

Please Note: These screws have a smaller shank diameter and should not be tightened to the recommended torque for an equivalent screw of the displayed thread size.
