• The cap is fitted with an internal neoprene rubber sealing disk to limit fluid leakage, plus it reduces potential shearing.

• It is easy to install and remove by hand, but its hex head allows the plug to be applied or removed with a spanner or socket at low torque.

Threaded O-ring Plugs for UNF Threads include a compressed flange lip and an O-ring (optional) to provide a watertight seal and superior leakage prevention for hydraulic threads. The threaded O-ring keeps contaminants like dirt, dust, debris, and moisture out of the hole.

It may be installed using a hex wrench, screwdriver, or hand. Often used on flat-faced hydraulic fittings, it is recommended when strength and resistance are desired as it can withstand temperatures that range from -40F to 230F | -40C to 110C.
