This conical compression spring is a mechanical spring made of stainless steel type 302 and standard finish passivated to ASTM A967. The cone shaped compression spring is designed to provide a near constant spring rate and solid height lower than a normal spring. The spring has a right hand direction of helix with squared ends rather than grounded.
