Often referred to as lightweight flat feet, glides are used for gliding an object across a surface and are commonly found in use on furniture legs and on the feet of appliances. There are many benefits to using glides such as prolonging the life of applications, to providing protection against surface damage and limiting the amount of noise made when moving objects around. Used mainly to provide a slide and glide movement, glides are easily replaceable and therefore, can be a cost effective solution that couples protection from stress, wear and tear with quick fit designs to ensure the right glide for your application. Our range consists of many different types of glides and whilst each type shares similar attributes to the other, we understand that your specific applications requirements takes consideration and so we stock fitting types such as adhesive glides, push in glides, nail on, screw on and saddle glides. Adhesive Glides
Adhesive Glides are ideal for furniture legs to protect floors and reduce noise. The PTFE material provides a smooth glide action and is easily applied due to the self-adhesive backing.
Nail-On Glides
Nail-On Glides are ideal for wooden furniture legs to protect floors and reduce noise. These glides easily knock into place and are provided in various finishes for a smooth glide action.
Push In Glides
Push In Glides, or Tube Inserts, are commonly used at the base of tubular products like chair legs. The push-fit glide provides protection, not just for the assembly, but more importantly for the surface below. Ideal protection for wooden, carpeted and other floor surfaces.
Our Push-In Glide range has a wide range of material options to choose from, including but not limited to; Polyamide (PA), Polyethylene (PE), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Felt and also Steel; as well as various finishes and colour choices to choose from.

Saddle Glides with Felt Base
Saddle Glides, also referred to as Saddle Bases, fit around tubing and are designed to help movement while protecting surfaces from damage caused from scratches. Made from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), they feature a felt base that glides smoothly on a range of surfaces. The tube connection is shaped like a saddle and the base is rectangular.
Our Saddle Glide range has two colour options; Clear and Black.
Screw On Glides
Made from Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) these Screw On Glides are screw mounted and come with a Steel washer. These Glider Screw Fixings stop chairs and other product with tubular fixings from sliding around on smooth surfaces.
