Superball Open Linear Ball Bushings

Superball Open Linear Ball Bushings are intended for high precision movement and smooth motion in demanding applications. Composed of a housing with a row of 4-6 round ball circuits housed in a cage. This bushing type has three times the load capacity and a life span of 27 times that of traditional linear bushings and is only intended for use with hardened shafts. They have an open part design that permits them to be used in cojunction with shaft support rails.

It provides self-alignment, which extends travel life by minimising friction between the shaft and balls and allowing for slight misalignments between the shaft and the bearing.

It can withstand temperatures from -20C to +80C and is ideal for applications such as automation systems, food packaging machines, and manufacturing processes.
