Wing & Fly Nuts - Plastic Wing Nuts

Wing Nuts, also known as Wingnut or a Butterfly Nut, is a type of nut; which similarly to Fly Nuts, has two thumb tabs (or wings) on either side. This means the wing nut can be fastened or removed by hand, with no requirement for tools. The tabs offer extra grip, making this process easy and quick.

Our wingnuts comprise of Plastic Wing Nuts made from Nylon 6/6 that are natural in appearance.

The Plastic Wing Nut range is available in various thread sizes, including; M3, M4, M5, M6, M8, M10 nd M12.

Integral Seal Bolts

Sealing bolts are a type of fastener designed with an o-ring to provide secure bi-directional protection against contaminates such as gases and fluids in various applications, minimising the risk of damage to sensitive equipment. They prevent the entry of water, dust, or other contaminants, ensuring a secure, reliable connection.

This range of sealing bolts with a hexagonal head, incorporates an O-ring which is compressed, squeezed into a precision groove machined under the head of the bolt, and the mating surface to complete the seal. They are manufactured from stainless steel, which provides good corrosion resistance and is slightly magnetic.

Integral Seal Bolts are used in threaded and non-threaded holes in applications such as pipes, valves or pumps. Sealing bolts are used in threaded and non-threaded holes in applications such as cabinets or used in the automotive and electric industries. Please note: Our seal bolts are designed for use in applications where sealing properties are required. It could be confused with standard fasteners, these do not require sealing properties and with an O-ring you will not get a sealing property like you get with seal screws and may damage the ring. Clearance holes are recommended for optimal sealing performance (see measurements below). Clearance hole depth is 2-3 times the thread pitch; threads are metric coarse pitch.

  • Designed with a sealing feature to provide a secure and watertight connection to various applications, minimising the risk of loosening due to vibration or movement.
  • Prevent the entry of water, dust, or other contaminants, ensuring a secure, reliable connection.
  • It has a hexagonal head and incorporates an O-ring which is compressed, squeezed between the head and the mating surface.
Material: 316 Stainless Steel, 303 Stainless Steel Series Code: SRP0176

Cam Lock Nuts

Cam Lock Nuts are a commonly used connecting element, which is used most often in furniture assemblies. The main function of the Cam Lock is to create a secure joint between two connecting pieces of furniture, that is stable. They are used in combination with a screw and place in a wooden panel or laminated board, for example.

Our Cam Lock Nut range is made from Zinc Alloy in a choice of finishes, including; Nickel Plating, Zamak, Collinox Light Plating, as well as unfinished options. The nut features a crossed driver types.

These nuts can be inserted into pre-drilled holes and tapped into place with a hammer. They are self-locking to prevent rotation during hand or automatic assembly.

Cross Dowel Barrel Nuts

A Cross Dowel Nut, also known as a Barrel Nut, is a specialist nut that is commonly used in aerospace and ready-to-assemble furniture applications.

Cross Dowel Nuts and Bolts are used to bolt thin sheet metal parts to bigger components that are often billet or forged. Barrel Nuts are designed for use with Joint Connector Bolts, where a right angle connection is needed.

Our M6 Cross Dowels are supplied in a Zinc Alloy material for a cost-effective solution, whereas the Cross Dowel M8 Nuts are supplied in Steel, for additional strength. The M8 Barrel Nuts are therefore ideal where heavier applications are required - typically on boards of 22mm thickness upwards.

  • Cross Dowel Barrel Nut Sizes: M6 and M8.

Furniture Mount T-Nuts

T-Nuts are ideal for use with Adjustable Feet, Tilt Glides, Castors and Locking Bolts and other furniture mount applications. The are self-locking to prevent rotation during hand or automated assembly.

These nuts are easy to assemble, simply insert into a pre-drilled hole and tap into place with a hammer.

Available in a choice of thread sizes to suit your application.

  • Colour: Natural

Hexagonal Nuts - PEEK

Hexagonal Nuts, made of PEEK, have great mechanical strength, excellent chemical resistance and temperature stability.

Ideal for harsh settings, where typical metal or other plastic nuts may corrode. The hexagonal design allows for easy installation, using standard tools. Provides a secure and reliable fit for a wide range of threaded assemblies.

The nuts maintain their structural integrity and performance at temperatures of up to 260C, which makes them ideal for use in the medical, electronics and automotive industries. Material: PEEK Colour: Beige Series Code: SR2014

Joint Connector Nuts

Joint Connector Nuts, are a joint connector made from zinc plated steel that offers supreme protection against oxidation. The steel connector nut have a hex drive that is suitable for an M5 Allen Key - making then quick and simple to install.

Joint Connector Nuts and Bolts are commonly used in combination to connect and join together component parts, such as wooden assemblies, including flat packed furniture or timber framing.

  • Compatible threads: M6 Joint Connector Nut and M8 Joint Connector Nut.
