They provide an alternative grip range is used with pre-assembled locks. Cams in this range are additional and all locks throughout the range are provided with the cam stated for each range. There are 2 types of Alternative Steel Cams available. Type 1 is to fit parts 492878 through to 492882 and are zinc plated to prevent corrosion. The cranks cams are used to increase or decrease the effective length of the cam lock. Part 492895 has both a vertical and horizontal hole to allow fitting at all four quarter hour positions. Type 2 offers the same properties as type 1 but is to fit parts 492883 through to 492890
